How could we help the wetlands

Yesterday we had a big discussion about why and how the wetlands are being destroyed. The amazing students of room 6 contributed some fantastic ideas. We pinpointed that people were the main reason why they have been destroyed. For building developments, farming developments and also through the little things like littering and not caring for our environment as we should.

We then did a big brainstorm about how we could help keep the wetlands continue to be restored, as we think they are beautiful areas :)

Where in the world is Mauriora?

Every week as part of our homework we have been tracking where in the world Mauriora is traveling to. This activity allows us to learn about the different countries all over the world, their languages and the different architecture.

This is Mauriora:

So far Mauriora has traveled to Samoa, Kuala Lumpar, Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam and China. We have heard some amazing facts about these countries

Where in the world would you like to travel?
