The Magic Faraway Tree...

As a class we have been reading Enid Blyton's 'The magic faraway tree'. We are absolutely loving this book, it allows us to really let our imaginations run wild keeping up with the adventures of Rick, Frannie, Joe, Beth and their magical trips to visit Silky, Moonface, and The Saucepan Man. We have especially loved the trouble they seem to get into at the many different lands... How we all would love to go to the land of goodies! 

We have been visualizing what the characters may look like, what the lanterns may be like that lead up to the tree and what the tree looks like... so we have created a place in our classroom that is dedicated to this book and the amazing visualizations that come to us from reading it!
