Room six are a amazing bunch of learners who enjoy challenges and celebrating our successes during our learning journey. We are a class of year 3 and 4 children in Cambridge, New Zealand. This is a place where we can share our work with others. It lets our aunties, uncles, grandparents, parents and friends see some of the work we have done at school. I like the way your map shows a very diverse wetland ecosystem. I'm interested how everyone has been fasinated by the feel and smell of the peat at Lake Serpentine. Now that you have an understanding of all the things that can live in a healthy wetland you may want to consider how we keep it healthy.
ReplyDeleteWe think to keep it healthy we could/should
ReplyDelete-not throw rubbish into a wetland
-don't litter when you visit
-don't eat all the fish
-don't kill the animals that live there
-keep chemicals out of the water
-help keep the pollution away
-make sure farms are not using the land for grazing
-don't trim the trees
-plant more trees and bushes for the insects and animals to live in
-catch the pests on land and in the water
we are hoping to do what we can to help the wetland ecosystem
